Fear of putting on weight

Hi guys!

I have been doing 1200 for the last two weeks and i have my WI tomorrow. I am genuinely scared that i have put on weight during this past fortnight. Been eating things like noodles which really fill me up..and i FEEL bigger?!? The unavoidable blip on thurs didnt help (left my lunchbox at home and got an egg and cress sandwich rather than my normal home-made..cress, low fat spread and salad sandwich)

Have any of you put weight on as a result of 1000+ maintenance?

You may find that you have gained a little due to the glycogen/water regain as you are eating more carbs BUT, you are managing it as you are following the plans - they will take you up in steps and you are doing the right thing. Don't think it's the end of the world if you do sts or even gain a little as the low calories will soon balance it out
Good luck!

i felt like that all the time when on the higher plans, im sure it wouldnt have made much difference at all, it wasnt much different to what you would have normally had, good luck for WI :D

good luck woth your weighin, im start the 1000 next week coming

Hi Deepak,

I find that carbs generally make me feel more bloated and 'bigger' and this is one of the things that makes me feel terrible. I much prefer eating more veg and protein and having only a few carbs so I don't feel so bloated. It makes you feel full for longer too.

Hope this helps.

Deepak .... how was your weigh in?

Hi Deepak
I too know what you mean I have gone up to the 1000 plan this week and feel massive! I truely feel that I am eating tons and therefore scared to death about my thursday weigh inn.emma

I came to the conclusion that its probably a natural feeling, considering your glycogen stores has been refilled. So even if you STS or put on weight you may still have technically lost weight!
