Fruit roulade

i just made the:
"FRUIT ROULADE - 0.5 SYN FOR THE WHOLE CAKE"
from the closed "puddings" thread

i didn't add fruit but i used lemon flavouring in the cake

and for the mix in the middle i still did the quark and sweetner but also added 125g of very low fat fromage frais and some lemon flavouring

its really yummy ! :) ... cant believe its only 1/2 a syn for the whole lot ... my daughter helped me make it and is now sulking cause i gave her a slice and she wanted another slice and i said she would have to wait till after tea tonight and have it for dessert ! :8855:

hi i made one today i put natural yoghurt mixed with sweetner and a thin layer of nutella it is fab only thing is its gone all wet when i put it in the fridge any ideas why anyone! thank you x

cant make up my mind wether to try this roulade or not!!! lol!!
bit worried if i like it id stuffthe lot which whilst only very low syn still wouldnt be great really,lol!
 
i made a plain sponge too the other day and used it in the 3 syn triffle (well i only did one sachet of jelly with the sponge in, in the bottom and then the jelly/yoghurt mix on the top) and it worked really well in that and tasted just like sponge fingers would, and a lot more filling for only 1/2 a syn more :)
i had half the triffle left over from saturday night and my daughter has just polished the bowl !!

not sure why yours went all wet in the fridge, mine didn't last till the next day, and the one in the jelly was meant to go soggy :)

ohh you have got to try making it its really good :), i wanna try making a chocolate one :) .... down side to that though is it adds more syns :(
