Has doing this diet messed your cycles up?

I am asking this as i really do not know what is going on with me.

TMI but i have been spotting for 3 days now. I don't think my period is due until at least the 30th May, going by how long my last cycle was.

Since my surgery for fertily i have had cycle & it was normal, so for this one not to be is abit

I have put a pad on this is the 3rd day & there is a slight staining on it, but nothing much at all & if it was my period i would have expected it over the days to get heavier & red instead of just brown tinge??

I am wondering if this diet is messing my cycles up (which is not what i want) seeing as i only have til July to fall now before my only option being IVF

Any1 shed any light?

I haven't been doing it long, but on the Cambridge site it does mention spotting, pop over there and I think it's in the FAQ section.

Hope you're OK x

Thanks Becky il take a look. I was hoping it may have been ovulation or implantation spotting but 3 days in a row i don't think this is the case sadly :-(

I don't want to put you off but it's messed mine up big time although I suffer from endometriosis so that may have something to do with it too.

I personally think it's worth it though. x

I have PCOS. For me it is not worth it, I have been TTC for 2 years next month, been under a fertility team for over a year & a few months back had surgery

I have been trying like mad the past few cycles to fall as i only have until July to fall or i have to have IVF which is not a route i want to go down & i also need to save for it.

Messing up my cycles is not good/worth it at all for me. A baby is more important

YES!!! it does mess the cycle up, but it also made me doubly fertile and i had an unplanned (but MUCH LOVED) baby last time i did CD.

decided to pm you

I cant help as I dont get monthlies. I hope you get some answers though. I just am posting here to wish you luck.

I thought with PCOS it was the norm to have messed up cycles. But i think diets generally do tend to mess up your cycle. i wish you all the luck in the world with concieving. I totally understand where your coming from as i also have PCOS. and have been trying both to shift some weight and get pregnant for 7 years now. my periods are usually non existent or incapacitate me:cry:. But do let me know how you get on.

You're lookin fab shanny! u reached your goal! you go girl!

Shanny well done on reaching goal :)

After the spotting/brown blood stopped i have been testing & keep getting a NEGATIVE result, it def was not implanation as i would be getting a positive result. I dont even think it was ovulation bleeding & just think this cycle is going to be a screwed up one

In theory i should next be due on in 4 days

Dazzle my cycles are generally messed up unless on fertility drugs where they seem to regulate or i had surgery a few months back, the next cycle will be my 2nd one since the surgery & my last cycle length had been reduced because of the surgery.. I would expect a few months where my cycles seem to regulate b4 them going back to be long & far between

I dont feel pregnant, negative results & with only 4 days to go im sure i would be having some sort of signs/symptoms by now

I am gutted i have to say
