My Diary

I am due to start my Lipotrim diet on monday. I have to admit I have my reservations about it, not to mention being very nervous.
5 years ago I used to weigh 18 stone, I am now 13.13 aged 26.
I goto the gym 3 times each week and also have a personnel trainer once every six weeks. aside from putting on a fair amount of muscle my weight has not really seemed to change.
2 years ago I had surgery on my ankle and put on a stone in weight (because I was not able to exercise for six weeks. And I'm still fighting to get it off)
I am due to have the operation on friday 21st on my other ankle.
This is my motivation for going on Lipotrim.
I have heard many stories about this diet some positive but most negative. I have been told of people having very bad headaches, feeling very weak most of the time, In some case even hair loss.

I think I'm basically just looking for some reassurance from you the people who have used it and are using it.
I will keep my diary upto date when I start (Not like I have anything better to do whilst i'm off work for 5 weeks)

Im sorry - I cant give you any experiences etc as I've never done this and have just started today!! still wanted to post though and wish you the best of luck.

You and I weigh almost the same!! - will be interesting to see if our losses are similar...

i though it was going to be hideous but i have flown through an am now coming to the end of day 5. Not a headache, grumpyness or chills in sight. Funny im having an op on my anke next week also! how bizarre!

Ooh Tam - hope the operation goes well for you.

Clecornu - think its a good thing to be prepared for the worst - Ive convinced myself the first week is going to be dreadful so at least anything above dreadful is a bonus!!

Did you get your packs yet? I was sooo excited (albeit apprehensive) when I got mine yesterday.

Lipotrim isn't for everyone & some people do suffer side effects. The main reason for having bad headaches is not drinking enough water. During the first week or so you can feel a little weak as your body is adjusting to not having food, but ones ketosis has set in you will feel fine. I have suffered with hair loss, although others only suffer once they refeed, but hair does grow back, and stronger and healthier from what I have read. Lipotrim is 100% safe, and was only prescribed by Doctors.

Another day almost ticked off - Mondays getting closer!!! how are you feeling about starting?? excited?

Many thanks to all of you for all your comments.
I have my packs.. I picked them up today... (seems strange that 1 persons weekly intake of nutrients can be contained in one little bag lol)
:Tamlyn, good luck with your op! hope all goes well.
:CHARLEYSANGEL, thank your for your honest post. it is reassuring to know that the side effects can be avoided it you just pay attention to the warnings.

I will continue to update my diary after my opp when I get home and start the lipotrim.

Thanks again everyone.

Hi ya, I've really similar stats to you too can we compare notes as it goes along? Im on day 2

Hi all!

So I'm back home now.. the op went fine.
Started my Lipotrim this morning. (I must say I had to force myself to drink the vanilla drink)
But I am looking forward to the end results... just have to keep telling myself that lol.

Exactly - DO keep telling yourself that!. So glad to hear that your op went well. Dont worry too much about not particulary liking the shakes - I've heard loads saying that at the beginning and then ending up loving them - think if you have anything 12 times, your taste buds adapt to it (or something like that).

Heres to a fabulous day 1!!!

When I first started lipotrim......vanilla was my worst flavour it would make me near enough vomit.....but forced myself to drink it........oddly you do get used to the drinks and will actually start to enjoy them.....

Good luck, today is also my first day. xx

Well your all right.... You do get used to the flavours... I have been putting a spoonful of coffee in with the vanilla shake... tastes great!

Glad to hear your doing well..
