Hi guys,,im looking for dinner ideas for chicken fillets for tonite, im gettin tired of the stirfry..
Any suggestions? thanks

I like using flavoured tin toms, put the chicken in a dish and add the toms, make sure there is a thick layer of tomato on top of the chicken. bake it, its lovely and moist. nice with couscous or rice etc and you can dd any falvour you want to the tomatoes, like chilli powder, herbs or paprika etc

I would add some spices and just have plain old veg with it!

I usually buy birds eye chicken chargrills and live on them :giggle:

Thanks guys..i'll deffo give the tin of tomatoes a go..i have never tried cous cous and i really should give it a go..broaden my food horizons.
I used to put spices over chicken an bake with a potato waffle all the time i havent done it in ages i mite give that whirl either.
Thanks for d replies

Hi. I make a marinade with 1 tbsp runny honey, i tsp dijon mustard, i tsp chopped parsley, i tbsp lemon juice, leave chicken to marinade in fridge for at least an hour. Then before putting in oven sprinkle breadcrumbs over chicken ( made with 1 slice w.w wholemeal bread ) cook in oven at 190 for around 35 mins depending on size of chicken fillet. If you use a medium skinless chicken breast it is 3.5 points per person. It is so delish.

I cut a pouch into the fillet, fill with garlic and herb light philadelphia and have with a few potatoes and lots of veg. its yummy and so quick and easy!

Oooh thanks girls both of those sounds lovely..i'll have lots of recipe ideas to keep me goin for the next few wks :) mmm the philly in the chicken sounds good

ok now im getting hungry again..its not that long since i finished bowl of 0 point soup lol im definately droppin to supermarket on way home for philly

We make a foil pouch and put the chicken breast in, then in a screw top pot put juice of a lemon (for 4 people), tbsp soy sauce, tbsp honey, 1 crushed garlic clove, 1tbsp wholegrain mustard (play around with those amounts). Shake the jar and divide between the pouches. Top the chicken with a slice of lemon, seal them and pop in oven for 25/30 mins. I have this with new potatoes and veg.

I cut little nicks in it, whack cajun/jerk/tex mex spices or garlic and herbs on mine, wrap it in foil (making sure all ends are sealed) and pop it in the oven for about 25 mins. Lovely with roasted veg.

mmm they all sound devine.. i have been stuck in a rut with chicken for ages and i have lots of new recipes now :)

I love the WW sauces you can buy ready made....The Tikka Masala is my absolute favourite and better than the local take away. I love it with prawns or mini chicken fillets and sometimes if Im running low on points just loads of mushrooms!
