A little experiment....

DQ

Queen of the Damned
.....today I booked the day off work. Been struggling in on crutches for the past three weeks and figured I deserved a day off.

And having slept incredibly well I thought of a little experiment. Today I have dressed in my size 26 jeans (held up by a belt), a size 22/24 top (very roomy) and am going about my normal day. And do you know what? Each time I have to hoick my jeans up, or pull my top back up to cover my shoulder it reminds me of what I have achieved.

Ok so my journey seems to have stalled - whether it's my body getting used to all the drugs, or what, I don't know. But there's no denying it - I have lost weight, and I have made a difference to myself.

So you see, sometimes the most stupid experiments bring the biggest smiles to our faces :D

Hi D_Q,

It is so important for us to claim what we have achieved as it is easy to lose sight of it sometimes on our journey when things just don't go as planned.

Lovely to see you getting back to form, nothing like a good nights sleep.
