Exercise equipment- I'm looking like a pear! Help!

Hi guys,
Losing the weight which is great but to be blunt I have a fat ar** and always have! And a bit of pudge on my tummy that will never shift! I've been doing a bit of running and 20mins a day on my stepper which is great and the rest of me is getting toned apart from my problem areas! I was looking at buying a gym ball but have never used one before and I don't know if they are any good!
Has anyone used one and had sucess? Or can offer any other suggestions?

I just use a Cross trainer and my wii fit. My sister recommend a ball as they are suppose to tone your stomach.
 
Just furthe ron the wii fit, if your stomach is your target the wii active 2 is supposed to help!
I love the wii active 1 and use this 5 times a week and then I do crunches. and walk.... we walk alot!
 
how abt a skipping rope hun you small like myself so ye can do it indoors if ye dont wanna go outside
ive tugged mine out and intend to start in the morning jsut build yourself up daily with it and it works everywhere:)
 
Thanks for the ideas! Unfortunately we are to poor to afford a wii fit! Lipotrim is eating all our money atm ( excuse the pun! )
Got a ball and had a go tonight and I'm feeling it so hopefully it worked! Good idea about skipping rope!

The ball is FAB!!! It tones your core muscle, but you need to know how to use it properly. Did you get a CD or DVD with it?

I go to fitball and coreball and it does help to tone!

It is good to do aerobic exercise but the core ball is just such fun and dont underestimate it; if used properly, you ache the next day! There are lots of guys that use it that are used to body building, as this helps more on the core muscles more than weights!! says it all!!

Well done on the weight loss, its great. Maybe you hate me for saying it but maybe the pear is your body shape? I don't know if u are familiar with the different types. I for examle am an apple. I have flabby arms, a big tummy and skinny stick legs. I have lost almost 3 stone and the actual shape hasn't changed now I'm sure there are certain exercises to tone but I think you couldn't fundamentally change your shape. I think sit ups help with toning the tummy area. (By the way, I always think the pear is a nicer shape than apple so lucky you!!)

Lol. I'm half Jamaican so I blame my mother for my bum! I don't really want to change my shape because trust me I tried and I know I can't lol! Would just like it to be a bit more toned- J Lo like !!!!
I did get a DVD with my ball and I am feeling it today! It took my a while to get my balance on the thing and stop laughing at the cheesy American fitness instructor :8855:but hopefully it will work will let you guys know!

Just thought I would let you know the gym ball is fantastic. Been using the last couple of days and it has been working a treat! It is so easy to use once I worked out how to balance on the things and I have been doing it in front of the tv at night.
Of to Aqua fit tonight. I did this with my sister when she was doing lipotrim and found it really effective.
Bit gutted about my 1 lb lose this week but at the end of the day I'm more bothered about what I look like ( bit vain! ) than what I weigh!
