Phew - that was a week - went a bit pear shaped!

Well after such a fabulous loss in my first week, i knew my second week wouldn't go so well. The reason was that it was a) my dads birthday and b) end of year at Uni so lots of stress trying to get an essay done as well as revise for an exam.

So my diet all went a bit pear-shaped, I knew it would so tried to be sensible. I weighed myself at home on Mon morning and had put on 7lbs

My exam was on Tuesday, and the essay was due in then too. So all done - confident I've passed both even though I can't be sure how well I've done (obviously!) but then Weds am, the day i was going to start, woke up with the most awful stomach bug  thank goodness it was the day after my exam that's all I can say!

Anyhow the upside of that is that I have gone back down today to what I was before - 11lbs off! I feel much better today and have already started my water for the day and intend to use the fact that I didn't eat anything yesterday to kick start me. Will that be ok? I presume so - the packs will give me all my nutrients and the water will help re-hydrate me.

Great thing now is that I don't have to worry about lectures and stuff so can concentrate on my lovely neglected (well not really but it's been a bit mad!) children and my diet.

I fuuly intend that my friends at Uni won't recognise me when I go back!! :D

Looking forward to catching up with all of you now!

Well done on getting your essay and exam out of the way. It must be such a relief for you, and extra well done for getting back on track and losing the 11 lbs.

Fingers crossed for your results. Spend some time now relaxing. You've earnt it.

Hi Kangy
It's all a bit of a roller-coaster ride isn't it! Well done on getting back on track. I'm on day three of SSing ... a lot easier now all the stress of that last week at Uni is over!

Fab news about the weight coming off again - like you, I want to be transformed by the time we go back in September :) (How much do you want to lose by then?)Good job we get such long hols eh? ;)

I've been told our results are due some time at the end of May / early June ... do you know if they'll be on SONAR or at the office first?

Anyway, well done again and keep up the fab work.

(In case anyone reading doesn't know - Kangy and I go to the same Uni ;) )

Hi Deb - we were told our results would be available from 18th May, but that's the History dept - it might be different for you so check with Kate. You'll be able to get them from kate first - they won't go onto Sonar until mid June or July, after the board has sat.

Soooo pleased you're back on SSing - I know what you mean about the stress of Uni and I really really want to crack it now before September. I would like to lose 4 stone, then I'll be pretty much at target. How about you?? I will pm you back but I know you'll understand it has all been a bit mad!!:D

Thanks as well Jazzy for the well done's! I have to say I'm pretty pleased with myself for getting through the year - there were times I didn't think I would!!;)

K xx

Hiya
I need to lose a bit over 5 stone to get to goal ... I don't think I can do that by September but I can get pretty darned close in that time :)
