Maintaing LT loss on GL
I have had a good week on GL and am down 3lbs:):)
This takes me past the 90lb mark, yippee!!! I am finding that GL really suits me as I like all the suggested foods etc. Hope I can keep up with it. The biggest thing, I find, is watching those portion sizes!! Hope you are all having a good week.

Thanks Mak and Mini. I hope I can keep it up!!!!! Today was a good day too.
What I had today and this is a typical day's food:
40g porridge with 10g milled seed and 70ml semi skimmed milk
1 slice rye bread with cottage cheese,tomato
two plums and some walnuts
turkey with bulgur and veg(small plate)
nectarine, plum and 2 dessert spoons yoghurt
4 coffees with skimmed milk
2 litres water.
I was a little short of my 1300 cals but I am not the slightest bit hungry.
 
Well done! I'm in my first week of low gi, finding it a bit tough not having sugar because I'm a sugar addict but I'll be chuffed with a two pound loss like yours next week!
 
Naoimi, it will get easier. Use sweeteners if you really need the sugar taste. Have berries of any kind like strawberries, blueberries etc or two plums with a dessert spoon of yoghurt as these are very low GL and will satisfy your craving for something sweet. Limit bananas as these are high GL.
 
oh no! I've been eating a banana a day. dammit. I'm still losing but maybe I'll lose more if I cut those out. Thanks for the tip!!
