Hi could anybody tell me if the Oats so simple sweet cinnamon can be counted as a healthy extra, I have found that it is 6 syns per sachet but wasn't sure if it could count as a healthy extra, I'm new to this:wave_cry:

I had a look online and it looks like only the original are a HExB.

I have the OSS porridge and my group leader said to count the 6 syns as a Hb and add on the rest. So the cinnamon one would be a Hb, but the Golden Syrup or my fav Raisin, Saltana, Apple and Cranberry would be 1/2 syn extra.

I'm sorry but this is so wrong. If you look at the contents there's nowhere near as much oats in the flavoured ones - hence the reason they are not a B. They may weigh the same and be the same syn value but there is a pile of sugar and flavouring taking the place of oats in these!

No need to be sorry, I will have to pull her up on it. Thanks for letting me know, I don't want to be giving out the wrong info x

I have to agree with Jaylou - the second main ingredient in the flavoured one is sugar! There is no sugar at all in the plain version. If you want a flavoured one just do the plain one and add golden syrup or cinnamon and sweetener at the end.
