1/2 tsp peppercorns

2lb beef cubed (i used stewing steak as i slow cooked)
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 1/2 pt beef stock
400g chopped tomatoes canned
1/2 lime, finely sliced to garnish

Make the mole mixture by combining the allspice, cloves, fennel seeds, peppercorns, spices, chillies, garlic (reserve 2 garlic cloves for later) and chocolate in a bowl.
In a non stick frying pan, spray with fry light and add cubes of beef and fry for 5-6 mins or until browned.
Add the onion the remaining 2 cloves of garlic and cook for a further minute.
Add Meat mixture, tomatoes, mole mixture into the slow cooker and cook on meduim for 6-8 hours.

When done serve with white rice or on its own.

This is a very spicy recipe but it is also very tasty and well worth a try if you like things a little hot !!!
