Well today is my second day of my slimfast diet, im doing pretty good so far and managed not to raid the kitchen for all the junk food that is there for the kids.

Well my story is that ive tried to lose weight a million times it feels like and failed dismally every time after a trip to my GP last week i decided i really need to do something drastic to try and lose weight hence why i decided on slimfast as i dont have much money to try LL or cambridge or any of them food replacement diets.

Day one went well and i was pretty pleased with myself, im trying to change when i eat to have shakes and meals when i would normally nibble as id normally have dinner with the kids and then still nibble so im missing the dinner with the kids and having mine slightly later at what would have been a nibble time.

Day 2 so far i have had one shake having 2nd one in the next half hour or so then tonite i have a asda curry and rice that is only just over 500 calories so far im not feeling the need to have snacks but thats not to say that wont change lol

Day 3 of the slimfast challenge (said in big brother announcer voice)

Day 3 is harder due to the fact im bloody constipated and in agony from it argggggggggggggggggggg but so far ive had brekkie shake and lunch shake and ive got mince and tatties for dinner tonite quite looking forward to it and then got snacks for later if i feel the need to nibble which i quite possibly will as im eatng earlier tonite as im going to brother in laws after dinner
 
mmm mince and tatties my fav are you drinking enough water? i suffer at times too. but then i have issues there lol house has to be empty for me to go wont go anywhere else but home see issues i find if i go to long i need to take a laxitive to to move things along so to speak but if i can i wont what i have found if i chew sugar free gum that works for me
 
im probably not drinking enuff i really need to up my liquid intake i think . it isnt till i sat and thought about it there that i realised since not eating the junk im not drinking as much mmmm must work harder on that one lol
 
day 4 ,, well nearly a disaster today as i had to leave home earlier than i normally do and didnt have time for my brekkie shake so i was planning on grabbing one and taking it with me but got to mid morning swore alot when i realised id left it sitting on the table at home.
Got home hungry and debated proper food or shake and decided on shake and a chedder bites SF snack (very cheesy and yummy) shall have proper meal with the kids and then i still have another shake for later on if i feel the need for it,, suppose thats the joy of SF it can be pretty flexible with a bit of work
 
i love the cheesy bites and sour cream pretzels they are so yummy/ looks like you got this off to a tea kazzy welldone :)
 
thanks for the support guys im still feeling pretty good about it all which in its self is surprising for me lol, got a weekend away this weekend to see my mum so taking my shakes with me and i always eat less there for some reason
 
Well decided not to take shakes with me to mums but havent stuffed my face at all , ive eaten sensibly all weekend so im pretty happy , had a few beers for my sisters birthday tho, but you can still enjoy life and try to lose weight i reckon, so its back on the shakes 2moro but im feeling pretty positive about starting them again even bought myself some SF pretzels when i took my mum shopping as my asda doesnt sell them so ill need to check out tesco near me
 
Well done Kazzy, sounds like you had a nice weekend away and did well food wise. I didn't have shakes for lunch Saturday because I was on a training course, I just kept lunch very low cal. I don't think it will hurt :)

Well im back on the shakes today and having a nice chicken rissotto for dinner tonite trying to cook meals that the kids will eat aswell to save me time lol
 
yeah its really easy to make i just buy the rissotto rice and add whatever i have kicking about
 
Had a busy morning today, Shopping day i hate food shopping lol, so didnt get my first shake till lunchtime also drank it while sorting out one of the kitchen cupboards as it was over flowing with food and couldnt put anymore in so reorganised it so its nice and tidy and i can find what food i need.
Having a nice salad for dinner tonite ive made homeade potato salad, and bought low cal coleslaw for myself kid n other half having normal coleslaw and gonna cook some chicken dippers to go with the salad so looking forward to that.
Been having a daily glass of prune juice for the past couple of days to help solve the problem of my constipation and it seems to be working out really well
 
Well had a bad day today i gave into a mcdonalds, was out shopping with OH and daughter today for her prom dress and they both wanted mcdonalds for lunch so i gave in and ate it aswell :mad:

Low fat pasta dinner for tonite and no nibbling today.

Im absolutely shattered after shopping legs n hips killing me, we found the prom dress easy enough was hunting down matching shoes that was a nightmare walked for miles to find them
 
That's the thing about bad days, you get with it and forget about it. We all get them, I'm sure I will have a few before the month is out:D
 
i have a mcdonalds now and again but only a kids meal less cals too
 
has been a pretty good day today. just realised its nearly 2 weeks since ive had a packet of crisps thats like wow amazing for me lol i know it seems silly getting excited over that but as ive always had a HUGE battle with crisps and them winning all the time its a massive thing lets hope the good work continues
 
Well been a good day today so pretty pleased with myself had 2 shakes for brekkie and lunch and had a ready meal macaroni cheese at less than 600 cals totally stuffed on it
