Thinking of switching to CD

As old members on here might remember, I REALLY struggle to lose weight, Even with the Xenical (despite sticking 100% to healthy diet & exercising) and so far, I don`t seem to have lost hardly any weight since I`ve been on them again :(

I have just been to see a CDC to gain information with a view to discussing MAYBE starting on it if the Xenical isn`t really helping.

I discovered I`m actually taller than I thought I was by a whole inch ;) LOL But am gutted that she weighed me 13st 7lbs when my WF weighed me as 13st 2lbs this morning and my Dr weighed me as 13st 5lbs when I saw her :( She also made my waist 38 & a half inches when I made it 40 so thats a bonus too ;)

I`m so torn :( I am so impatient to lose weight and IF I`m actually GAINING weight I`ll be gutted

Have any of you ever thought about jumping ship?

hold on there, have u tried following w/w as i do as i find it keeps my portions down other wise i would eat big, all so i try to watch my crabs as I'm a childminder so i spend a lot of time at home not really burning cals off, i think my body struggles with too many carbs
It mite sound silly but you may not be eating enough food.
w/w, if u don't use all your points up week after week you will get to the stage where your body with stop losing weight don't ask me y but my w/w lead has said this, and it has helped me, i stick to my points and if i know I'm going out at the weekend or going to have a blow out i save my point through the week and then use them for the night out, I DONT DO THIS EVERY WEEK JUST NOW AND AGAIN, good luck and maybe give w/w a go this is what works for me

The thing is that you will always be 3 different weights on 3 different scales hun, no scales weigh the same, hell my scales don't weigh me the same if I move the bluddy things on the floor
As long as they are going down the way, that's all that matters. And I know you're impatient to lose weight, but I think you're going to have to be patient, easier said than done, I know, but I think that you're going to get yourself so worked up about it all, and feel so annoyed that you're not losing *fast enough* that you'll end up sabotaging your efforts, and I would hate for that to happen to you Lise.
xx

I feel for you, come on you have always supported my efforts, don't leave us!!!

I know how frustrating it must be, I've been known to give up in the past, if my weight has sts or I've gained, NOT this time though :)

Alli is right about the scales, always judge yourself on the same scales every time.

Good point about eating enough to lose weight, if you don't eat enough your body slips into panic mode and holds on to any extra weight for fear it won't 'be fed again' so keeps a tight rein on any reserves!

Good luck whatever you decide, many are using xenical with other means of diet too. Do what feels right for you until you discover what works..but PLEASE don't leave, I look forward to reading your posts :)

i thought bout jumping ship once.... and it lasted a day (my liprotrim incident) lol... since then no , it's slower then some diets but slow is best , in your case i know you try really hard and i feel for you :( .. do what you think is best lisa , only you can tell if your happy xxx
