Hello everyone

i am starting WW on saturday, i have been messing around for about a year doing CD and LL and have ended up weighing more than when i started.

I have been doing shakes for 3 days or so then just binging like mad and i have weighed anywhere between 13.13 and 16.7 (present). I need to re-adjust my thinking to healthy eating and get this weight off once and for all.

I know i can do it as i lost 5 stone in 1997 when i got married - this was doing ww.

I will update my weight etc when i get weighed on saturday.

Looking forward to any help/advice and would love to join in a challenge if anyone is running one.

Hi Wobbly good luck for your joining of ww I am sure you will succeed, it is the hardest thing to do....lose weight. Why the hell is it so blooming easy to put on.....!

Theres a May Challenge running at the top of the WW main page if you want to add yourself to it. Most people havent had their first weigh in for it yet so youre starting at the right time :)

I know just where you are coming from as I too have been trying to get back into CD, manage it for a few days then bingo I suddenly feel so fed up with it I eat anything thats not nailed down!

I am going to try to get back to sensible eating - I am not going to focus on the weight but more on eating healthly & sensible portions each day then hopefully the weight will start to come down steadily.

I may well re-join a WW class tomorrow & stay at each class rather than fly in & out then forget about it all week!

I do think with CD/LL the weight loss results can be massive (I lost 6 1/2 stone nearly 3 years ago & have regained 2 stone of that over the last 10 months) but also as soon as you overeat it goes back on even quicker + some!

Anyway, good luck with your efforts & keep us informed of your progress.
 
Day4

It's day 4 today and I am finding this brilliant. I think it's with mucking about with CD that I feel like all my xmases have come at once on WW.

Hope I can keep this up!

Does anyone have any low point snacks for on a night as this is when I am at my worst as my hubby works abroad!!

Glad you are going well!!!! How good is WW after CD and trying to get back into it... No sure on low point snacks i tend to have (i'm on core)

Low fat natural yoghurt and peach slices, strawberries and banana (0 pointys on core)

air Popped popcorn (0 points or oil popped 2 points for a medium portion also snack a jack do one too

i weighed in on saturday morning and i had lost 6 pounds!!!!

over the moon with that just hope i can keep it up, i know cambridge is quick loss but it is so hard to stick to long term where i am fine on ww. If the loss slows right down then i will become disheartened!!

Can I change the name of this thread does anyone know!!
