My mishap of the week.

Went shopping the other day, picked up my usual big tub of fat free yoghurt (the kind I know is free), thought I would try the blueberry one, I normally buy natural or vanilla and just add fresh blueberrys too it.

Anyway I have been spooning away from the tub all week, but just this morning glanced at it and I have only gone and bought the non fat free stuff. ARGGGGHHH!!!!.

Just worked it out on the syns calculator and it is 3.5 syns for 125g, which luckily isn't too bad, but I am so stupid.

I did wonder why it tasted so yummy. lol

So just thought I would share me mishap of the week.

Anyone else got any to share?

My mishap this week was physical - fell over spectacularly and broke my toes rendering me slightly useless at everything! :(

Oh no Britmum!! At least the syns weren't too bad.

OUCH!!! Hope you're ok :character00264:

My mishap was not eating before I went out yesterday and ending up in McDonald's! Somewhere I haven't eaten at in YEARS! I was good tho and went for a chicken nugget happy meal, but still grrrrr  It's not like I even enjoyed it!

I ate low fat creme fraiche for the first 3 weeks I was back at SW last year before realising that it wasn't fat free fromage frais, so I feel your pain there! :p

to be fair, my most spectacular mishap was when i first started.. thinking mullerlight was mullerice. I was eating up to 5 a day, desperate to loose weight.. didnt realise they were up to 14 syns each. I was doing this for about a month before i caught on..

:O

Ding ding ding, we have a winner!! :D :p

Does being a complete tool and eating a huge slice of victoria sponge cake with jam and butter cream inside even though i was well aware it wasnt reduced fat at all classed as a mishap or just plain suicidal?
(

I honestly thought they'd superspeed my weight loss, and i dont even like them.. i was literally gagging as i made my way through them, determined to get the weight off..

it wasnt untill someone said ' oh yes i do like a mullerice as a treat..' and i thought.. what, why would you have somthing syn free as a treat? .. and then someone asked how many syns they were..

iv never been so mortified!

Aw mate that so sucks! One of my favourite WW breakfasts was a Muller Rice - when they used to have the raisin cinnamon and nutmeg one. Them and the apple ones - yummy yum! I haven't had one for about three years now!

You're making me crave one! Hehe. It's mad to think that one Muller Rice is like 3 times more syns than a beef mushrooms from the Chinese!

haha i know!

amazingly enough my losses were still good ( it was my first month mind and i had alot to lose!) just goes to show though, if we were working out what 'day' i would have had on a normal day pre-sw.. and the syn intake i was having when i actually thought i was on plan 100% and doing it right, it still must have been radically reduced to still have decent losses! LOL

I just had to throw away my Activia. I was sure I had bought fat free rhubarb (never bought rhubarb but wanted a change). As I was eating it I thought it tasted creamier and sweet with no 'diet' aftertaste so I double checked the pot and yep - there was no 'fat free' anywhere on the damn thing so I chucked it in the bin! My 3 yr old will be getting the other 3 pots!

My mishap of the week has nothing to do with food. I lost my husband's car keys. Literally lost them, not just misplaced them. I think I drove off with them on the roof of my car ......... the only set we have for his car.

Needless to say he wasn't amused. Cue one locksmith & I'm now £115 poorer to pay for it .........

Almost the same as me then Stacey, except I as gullible thinking the diet one tasted just as good as the non fat free ones. Obviously I now know why. DOH!!! lol
