One more try

Here I go again.
I try, try, try and fail, fail, fail.
I am soooo fed up with all this trying and failing.
The problem is, I love food more than I want to lose weight.
This time I am keeping a close eye on everything I do.
I am going to write down all my thoughts here even if some of them don’t make any sense.
I might even talk to self more than I talk to anyone else. But then, what’s new.
What if I look silly, if I get my eating habits under control it will be worth it.
Will be back soon.

Rainyday, good idea about writing everything down. I know the feeling about always trying and feeling like you are going nowhere fast.

As for talking to yourself, I'm all for that! LOL

How much are you wanting to loose? Perhaps set some easy achievable goals to start with like you water intake and a walk twice a week?

Thanks for the encouragement Bren.
I think I will aim for 1st weight loss to start with.
I have an under active thyroid so getting weight off is an up hill battle.

Hey Rainyday...

Everyone of us on here knows about uphill battles - you are not alone sweetheart.

Everything you wrote, I could have written, so I'm with you on your one more try. It will happen for you - have faith and keep smiling

Oh I totally know how ya feel. I am sick of trying and failing to do a vlcd, or indeed any plan.:sigh: It's a good idea to write your thoughts and feelings down. I do the same on my diary in Gold members section (keep thinking of Austin powers when i read that lol). It's a depressing read at times but hopefully I'll look back someday and think wow im glad im not in that place anymore.

Well it's time to forget the word 'diet'. Take a breathe, think of where you would like to make some changes, i.e. exercise/food and head in that direction.

Biggest hold back for me has been, demanding to myself that I loose weight, rather than allowing me. Easier said then done though I know.
