Ok, I've been doing Rosemary Conley for 10 days and have lost a couple of pounds - but there has been too much cheating, so I think I need a food diary to keep me on the straight and narrow!

Here was yesterday's, being completely honest, cheats included!

Breakfast - 2 x small slices of wholemeal bread, toasted, with Marmite

Powersnack - Glass of fruit smoothie

Lunch - Half a M&S sandwich (140 cals, less than 5% fat), handful of grilled oven chips, grilled peppers and cherry toms

Powersnack - Half can mushroom soup (75 cals, less than 5%), single Ryvita

Before RC class - Half can mushroom soup, slice of wholemeal bread

After RC class - Half pack M&S cannelloni (190 cals, less than 5% fat), salad

Cheats - 2 packs of Walkers Baked (8% fat whoops), 1 brandy (toothache) 1 175ml glass of wine (double whoops)

Exercise - 45 min class

Any ideas how I can improve? And resist cheating?

My advice to you would be to stick to the calories alloted for each meal and snack for the first 2 weeks.

i.e 200 for breakfast, 300 for lunch & 400 for dinner. 50 cals for each power snack (I think you will find your fruit smoothy quite high in cals unless it was a small glass) and 200 for your milk allowance which you take all of your milk for your ceral and tea/coffee out of.

Make sure you use your portion pots too, they are invaluable.

If you do have wine (try not to in ur first 2 weeks, its only a couple of weeks after all), use your yellow portion pot to measure. The Yellow PP is 125ml and that is 88 cals of wine.

Stick to the diet for the first 2 weeks 100% and the weight will shift, after that your calorie allowance will increase and you can include higher fat snacks OR a glass of wine each day.

Good luck, you CAN do it
