Spots & Ulcers!!

I'm on my 3rd week of eating exante products and have suddenly broken out in spots on my face and I have a very bad ulcer in my mouth! With me, these are usually signs of being run down. I would have thought the opposite would have happened as I am supposedly getting all my nutrients!

Has anyone had a similar problems or got any tips??

Thanks :D

Oh, poor you. I've had no problems whist on Exante but when I get ulcers its usally because I haven't had enough sleep.
Hope you soon feel better.

The spots could be sort of a detox effect from coming off "normal" food but not sure about the mouth ulcer, sorry. Hope it improves quickly.
Bren xx

snap, sans ulcer. reckon it must be all the rubbish exiting, that and we bought a sauna, so sort of expected to be a bit extra zitty as years of crud erupts. i am NOT going out this weekend at all.

lol fren....bless not going out! I've had bad skin for 2 weeks now - on week 5, hoping it'll clear up, also got cracks at side of mouth which is unusual for me...and a bit annoying cos i feel great for losing the weight but miserable about the state i'm in complexion wise....i might just take some multi-vits for a few days see if that helps any?!

i know exactly what cracked mouth is, your b12 has run out, nip to nurses, they will inject you, lasts 12 weeks.

aww cheers for info hun, i'll make an appt for monday!

Hi everyone, thank you for your support and advice. The mouth ulcer seemed to disappear by itself which is good! The spots are still present... I've been a bit down this week (week 3), I've found it harder than usual. I keep getting really bad cravings for cheese!!

I got all kinds last time on CD, fungal skin infections, fungal tonsillitis but no spots or ulcers. I have acbe anyway and my spots cleared up last time! On LT I got very spotty and my spots are breaking out on exante too :(

I've just got an ulcer now too, think it's lack of sleep and run downness.

Fren is right, it's sounds like angular stomatitis caused by lack of B12. The nurse should take a blood test before giving you the injection though. Take multivits, they do help!!!!
