Can Xenical affect fertility?

i am going to my docs on monday to see if she will prescribe me xenical, but i am desp trying for another baby and i dont want anything to affect it at all?
it wont affect my fertility will it?

Hiya, I wouldn't think it'd affect anything, in fact losing weight can help conception as you prob know. You could ask your gp just to double check, best of luck with everything!

Your doctor will not prescribe them if there is any danger of that and as Lynn says you will have more luck conceiving if you are carrying less weight.

I know of a lady who went onto Xenical to lose weight because she was trying for a baby, she lost 3 stone and now has a one year old. She has PCOS and had been trying for a long time so I don't think you have anything to worry about. Good luck with everything. xx

ive been on xencial for 3 weeks now, and prior to this my periods had stopped, last year i only had 2!! and we have been wanting to start ttc for our 2nd baby, and ive lost 12lb altogether so far and guess what.. i came on yesterday so the weight was the problem so hoping they will return to normal now, and when i spoke to the doc about xencial/fertility she said it can only aid the chances of getting pregnant as your chances of getting pregnant are higher the less weight u carry.
