cost?

£36 pounds a week in my local chemist.

If you go to the Doctor and he agrees with you going on the programme, you can get it on prescription for £29 a week.

Otherwise, via chemist £36

I'm going to Belfast next weekend. I might buy it there in the chemist.
Ireland is always SO expensive!
I was thinking of buying it off Ebay, might have a look at that.

Is that 36 pounds for the TFR though? Or for the maintenance?

Got no chance as my mum went to our Drs and he doesn't beleive in this type of diet!! can't wait to see what he says when i've lost more and then visit him lol

    I cant believe the price, I am paying 65 euro a week and my OH did it before and the male one is 85 a week!!

I only have another 3 weeks so I think I will stick with the chemist but I was planning on going back in August/September so I think I will be keeping an eye on ebay!

I agree! It's ridiculous in Ireland!
I'm definitely gonna pick up a 2 or 3-week supply in Belfast.
And as soon as I do my maintenance, I'll order that on Ebay.
I hate how there's always such a difference between pounds and euros

I'm a regular over the border too, difference really bugs me.
will the chemist give it to you, do you not have to take the dvd and come back the next day and all that malarkey

mine is 69.70 euro a week. you think it would be set rate for anywhere in rep of irl :( saying that, I would probably spend that or more, if I was pigging out. esp if you inc wine hehe

Hope not!
I'll just tell them I'm in Belfast for the week but I forgot to pick up my supply before I left. I have my LT card to prove it.
I hope they'll give it to me!
If not, I'll just order it off Ebay for the week after

I know Helen, thats the way we have to look at it isnt it.
it should be the same everywhere though.

Yeah, you would think, wouldn't you?
I'm starting to think it's worth checking out other pharmacies around to see if any of them sell it cheaper

Mine is €65 and my sister pays €68 in different chemists in towns not that far apart. Like Helen said though I reckon I am saving money on food though, between takeaways, wine and junkfood I dont think i realised the amount i spent.

I know!
I usually shop for the month and stick everything in the freezer.
But then I need to go to the shop to pick up fresh vegetables, and I end up buying loads of stuff I don't need.
I don't think I'm spending much more on LT then I do on food when I binge.

Still think the price difference with the North is really unfair though!

Absolutely agree!!! Its a disgrace that the price in Ireland is so much more. Down to chemists I reckon. They are making a mint on it. I was seriously considering changing over to Exante but they will only deliver to Ireland if you order over £120 worth of product. Going to stick with the LT for the moment. Let me know how you get on over the border and if they gave you a few weeks worth. :D

I'm sure they can appreciate the fact that they're cheaper.
And it's good for their business so I can't see why they wouldn't.

Only prob is, I have to fine one that's in the city centre. I'm not driving up, so can't get anywhere remote really.
I'll let you know how I got on :D

Hi Sparkling Fairy, there is a chemist on Botanic Avenue that sells LT (as far as I know), probably the closest to the City Centre. It's close to Queen's University, though just to warn you it's £45 here, we still don't get it as cheap as the Mainland haha. Swear we're paying for postage or something :)
