Set points

They are useful when you are eating out and dont know the points of what you are eating. Set points are allocated for each portion of lean protein or starchy vegetables and grains.

lean proteins - 4 points per portion
eggs, fish and shellfish, lean poultry (skin removed), lean red meats, vegetable proteins

grains & starchy vegetables = 5 points per portion

potatoes (cooked with no butter/oil), pasta, peas & sweetcorn, briwn rice & couscous, barley, buckwheat, bulgar & quinoa.

All other foods must be pointed as usual

The set points value is usually higher than the points value for a standard potion cos usually restaurant portions are larger. Stop eating when satisfied. Set points are only assigned to certain filling foods
