Scan bran in Muller light

A lady at work who did SW years ago suggested this to help kick start things

Before you go to bed crumble a scan bran into Muller Light yogurt and put in the fridge

In the morning all the scan bran has expanded and apparently tastes very nice.

I have 2 scan bran in the cupboard so I am going to give this a go. Anyone else tried it? x

I like scan bran but dislike Mullerlight. I like Activia ff though I suppose it might be nice with scan bran in.

ahhh i see in the book it;s say's porridge + 1 scan bran have been eating separate lol so i should make up porridge and leave over night>> x

I do this ALL the time ..... well a lot anyways!

I don't like milk with my cereal at all so I always get the scan or oat bran ( x 5 = 1 HEX B ) and crush it up in a poly bag with a rolling pin, and crumble into the mullerlight yogurt and let it sit overnight, not in the pot but in my pretty sundae glass, ready to eat in the morning. It really IS nice! Lots of fibre! AND it's a real Speed Symbol breakfast! It's a bit like the "Magic Porridge" talked about in another post!

I know others at my group who soak the scan or oat bran in boiling water to soften them, then drain, then mix into their yogurt.

The mullerlight I use, are pretty "runny" yogurts so they really soak into the scan or oat bran quite well, not too sure how they would be with other more "firm" yogurts?

Ooooh, yes and I often use some chopped up fresh fruit, or thawed out frozen berries or whatever, just to add a bit more to the speed symbol element too!

Think I will give this a go for tomorrow's breakfast - if I remember tonight that is, lol:D
