have made a lovely chicken biryani with potatoes peas onion and a couple of sliced boiled eggs, Free on extra easy!! enough for today and tommorrow so i am going to try my best to go syn free tommorrow and just simply stay on the damn plan!!

At least you know where you have gone wrong and are already putting it right :) To properly fall off the wagon would be to ignore it and carry on with the naughty food!
Well done at WI and good luck with this week. The byriani sounds lovely btw :D

As above, at least you know where you've gone wrong and are doing something to get back on track. Your curry sounds yummy!! and good luck with getting well and truly back on track tomorrow xx

true!! and i feel even crappier cuz hubby wouldnt go out for a walk with me! lame excuses are uz!

i want to be good all this week now my holiday is looming closer and i need to shift some weight before i go!

Biryani is dead simple!

Marinate the chicken in yoghurt, biryani spice powder, garlic and ginger

fry off some onion is fry lite along with thinly sliced potatoes, peas, season with chicken stock, tumeric, and freshly ground pepper, once the veggies are cooked add the chicken and allow that to cook covered about 20 mins, stir in last nights or pre boiled plain rice and layer in a pasta dish with some boiled eggs on top, cover with foil and bake in the oven for about 30 mins!

and it should taste lush! better than the restaurant greasy ones anyway!

I personally don't work to using my syns over a week but I know others do, successfully. Therefore don't dwell on the extra syns, just cut down a few for the next couple of days. I also fell at the Muller Rice fence early on, but luckily they've brought out the smaller pots now = 5 syns each so I can still enjoy without going overboard. I,m deffo going to try your receipe - sounds lush.

Haha I really wouldn't worry about your little indiscretion! You have got a week till WI and you know where you have gone wrong. Some of the ladies at my old group used to go to the chippy straight after WI lol! Biriyani recipe sounds awesome btw!

There are quite a few of the peeps at my group who go home & have a "naughty dinner!!"

I totally agree - you are already pulling back the syns for tomorrow & i'm sure over the next couple of days it will even itself out.

Thank you my lovlies its just the ticket i needed to stay on track!! love ya'll!! xxxx

Hi Simmy, you have done the right thing, acknowledged what has happened, drawn the line and moved on. Your recipe sounds gorge. I find foods cooked with fat are far too greasey now. Amazing how your tastes change.
