well i tried my new slow cooker out today. just popped some jacket spuds in while i was at work. came home, got the rest of the meal ready and unwrapped the foil on the spuds and they were dark brown all the way through. ended up dashing to chippy cos rest of the dinner was ready. really didn't need another synful day! :sigh:
