I am trying ti limit my cheese intake an was wondering whether I can swap my cheese snacks with pork scratchings. I got some today from sainsburys - they are called mr porky and were in the crisps isle. Is this ok?
Are we allowed pork scratchings?

Just had a packet- they will take some getting used to as I can't help thinking about what kind of meat I am eating and what parts lol! My oh also couldn't refrain from showing me little hairs in the scratchings...ew... But I think if I can get past that they are a good snack and it almost feels like you are cheating being in a crisp packet and all!

Just check the carb content on the mr. porky ones, there not massively high maybe about 1.6, however morrisions own in a red bag are trace for a big bag!!

Does anyone know which brand of pork scratchings are allowed? I can only find them with dextrose and rusk in, I'm on week 2 of my induction and haven't lost any weight yet and that's all I can put it down too, any advice would be appreciated I'm ready for giving in :cry::cry::cry:
Thanks, do you think a bag a day is ok,? I'm getting really disheartened iv been in ketosis most of the time and drank loads of water, and my boyf who has only been on it a week and been drinking diet coke no water has not got into ketosis and he's lost 3 lb,:sigh: I'm goung away in 5 weeks and was hoping to lose a stone but that seems unlikely now, any tips on speeding things up a bit,

i don't like the mr porky ones, i get the erm, green something ones from home bargains, 79p for 6 bags. i have one most days, love 'em!
guys always lose easier on any diet, steve and i have been doing this together and he cheats all the time and has lost double what i have, its just the way it is.
