Sugar free gum

I don't really understand why sugarfree gum is synned yet sugarfree pop isnt?

You dont eat them, So I dont understand why they are synned? I tried to work out the calories and its like less than one calorie per tab, yet a frylite spray is one calorie per spray, yet free.

Yet I can drink things like diet coke which is also sugar free and not have to syn it.

Am I the only one that thinks synning sugar free gum is a tad weird?

I don't chew it often, but I never record it as syns (and I knew about the synage). What you say is right, it makes no sense when diet pop is free!

That seems pretty silly to me, as with the 'if you dont eat the whole healthy extra, its synned'

i would never syn it and i chew gum. lets face it we never became overweight in the first place chewing gum did we?

I chew loads of gum, i can't seem to drive without chewing and i have replaced sweets with gum. I never syn it as i didn't think it would contain any, it hasn't affected my losses. The one that really gets me is fruit. How can an orange be free but putting it through the juicer be syns, i mean it gets squished in your mouth anyway so you still swallow the juice! so how does that work out?????

Would you be happy to drink a tablespoon of orange juice becuase that is what you would get if you juiced one orange. To get a decent drink you would need to juice half a dozen. Would you eat half a dozen oranges in one go. Juicing is an easy weigh to overeat without realising it and without much thought about what you have consumed.

This juice thing is what gets me about my mil. She wonders why she never loses weight. She lives in Spain where trays of oranges are cheap. Has about 4 fresh juices a day. Thats probably about 24 oranges (that you couldnt physically eat). So well over 1000 calories!!!!

You don't actually have to count syns if you don't eat the full amount quoted for a HE. I know that some consultants have said this but SW HQ have confirmed that this is wrong.
