Hi everyone!

I am back on the lipotrim slim train as of today - lost over 2st but stopped for a break a month ago. Have been reasonably good and not put any weight on but ready now to lose the last bit and start to feel good about myself.

The strangest thing is that when I stopped lipotrim I felt pretty ok but now when I look in the mirror I still see exactly the same person as I did before I started.

Planning on doing 3 weeks very strictly so I need all your support!

Welcome back! Well done for not putting anything on!!

I know what you mean, when I came off LT I put on quite a bit, but, even a week after when I had put hardly anything on, I felt enormous. I think it's all to do with feeling like you're not doing "the right thing" or something. Heh.

Hi Hannah,

How are you finding starting again? I'm doing it pretty quick after finishing the first time mostly because I didn't get to goal. I really needed a break and don't regret stopping but I really think I am going to struggle getting 'into the zone' again this time. Hopefully I will reach my goal (and maybe a bit extra) this time around. I will def have another break but may once again, return. I know myself well enought to know I can't do it long term but I also know weight watchers well enough to know what to eat when I am not on TFR. It was the blooming children that messed my body up!

Anyway, rambled on enough....if anyone else has any return to TFR advice I would love to hear it xx

Well its day 2 and I reckon I am going to keep a bit of a journal on here just to give me some motivation.

Yesterday was pretty good actually - wasn't at work so it seems easier, can get regular water and dont have the after work munchies.
Had 3 shakes, choc in the morning around 11am, a cheeky new you banana at around 3pm and a vanilla at 8pm. Had lots of water and a fair amount of black coffee with sweetener. Its all good!
Haven't really been able to go to the loo since starting and stopping TFR so I took a dulcolax before bed as was feeling stuffed up and bloated. Woke up loads in the night with horrendous stomach cramps but indoors all day today so hopefully it wll sort me out!! (Sorry if TMI!!)

So today is day 2 and I am about to have my first shake not sure what flavour...oooh the decisions we have to make! Really want one of the new you bars I have sitting in my kitchen but I think I will wait at least a week before eating. (did the 10 for a tenner trial a few weeks ago but they took so long to get to me I had all but given up by the time they arrived and so I didn't eat any of them!)

Hope everyone else is ok - the sun is shining so the world seems a better place!

I tried some of the new you bars and it just leaves me craving food :(

I'm going to ask my OH to put them in the loft! I hate going up there so very unlikely to go and grab anything!

I did a tester thing too but they really tasted amazing following LT. So in a way I'm kinda glad I did taste them because I know that at least there is something else out there that might help when I start maintaining.

I'm so glad I did LT first too as it makes me appreciate how I managed to stick to those yummy (!) shakes!! ;)
 
Right, here I am on the morning of day 3. Little slip up yesterday but Im skimming over that and waking up fresh as a daisy ready for the day ahead.

Still unsure about what to do LT vs NY I suppose I had better hurry up and decide or it won't get here on time anyway. Anyone else still on New You?

Will check in later just so I keep on the straight and narrow x

You know, I think you hit the nail on the head Lisa. As long as we are honest with ourselves then whatever works for the individual is the way forward. I certainly don't feel guilty for having some time off - I got to the stage where I had a cold for about 2 weeks and severe sinusitis, the most painful experience Ive had since giving birth!!! I absolutely admire the sticklers who will not deviate or give up until their goal is reached (I was one of those for 5 weeks!) but I also admire those who can be truthful to themselves and return when ready.

hey emmievic,,ive started off with my old lt packets to get me back into ketosis and then il finish my new you ones, for me the sweetness of the new you doesnt bother me, but the lt is a bit blander if you think the sweetness could be an issue...plus ny is so much cheaper..x
 
Do you just do shakes Bells? Really tempted by the bars and soya meals - the bean one was delish.
 
yeah just the shakes..my reasoning is because you will lose more doing shakes as theyre made with water, the new you bars are way too nice and i always want another one, and if i have the meals i feel like im eating which is great but then i feel like ive cheated and then i also feel the want to eat other stuff....
however i am going to get some bars for when im on holiday as i wont be able to have my shakes and im planning on two bars and a light meal...
i think its up to each person really which they want to do but i know the shakes are best for me. the spag bol one is yummy thiugh i did have a sample pack of that...mm x
