about what points are spent on? i have been really snacky today but everything is within my points,i have had breakfast (rice crispies) and tea (sweet and sour stir fry) but the rest has been a selection of ww finest snacks :D what do you think??

Its up to you what you spend your points on. I had brekkie, snack of an apple, dinner with a packet of crisps and veg to snack on at my desk, snack at 3pm usually of cheese and crakers, then tea and just recently i've been having biscuits as a snack in the evening. so i snack quite a big but its not rubbish, its low point stuff

People are divided over what you should spend your points on. Some people say you should stick to low calorie, low sugar, low fat (etc etc) snacks/foods, where as other people say as long as you use all your points, it doesn't matter what you use them on.

I think if you consistently lose weight doing what you are doing, then don't change it. If you're struggling one week, perhaps cut down the treats and up the veg and protein, and see if it makes a difference.

Personally I tend to base my points on low cal treats such as fruit and bulk out my veg and protein. I allow myself one "treat" a day from WW - so I usually have a WW Toffee Bar. But during the day I 'll have a snack such as Snack a Jack or Pink and White for 0.5pts each.

I hope that helps!

it does help alot thanks,i prob will cut the treats down abit tomorrow,i am trying to skim a few points off this week for sunday as we are having a family meal and of course there is the whole easter thing and i will get bought an egg off the kids so i want to eat some choc just cos its easter and thats what we do...isnt it?! lol

Even if you just cut one down tomorrow and do it week by week, you won't notice cutting them out and make sure you replace it the points with something maybe more filling? I hope you have a lovely weekend :)

plus the whole point of ww is its a maintainable lifestyle change and everyone should have a healthy life style, i find i have more energy if i eat healthy too.

i use my points on food i enjoy eating

today

bran flakes for brekkie

chicken bacon salad for lunch

sugar in my peppermint tea (no sweetner available)

corned beef and beetroot sandwich for snack

sweet and sour prawn/veg stirfry with cous cous for dinner

and as i type in sucking on puff candy (very naughty pure sugar sweets)

I would rather stick to the diet with food i intend to eat forever than faf about for a few weeks living on carrot sticks (which i love by the way)and then give up because i feel deprived
