Hi all,
I'm on day 5 of CD and yesterday I weighed myself and I had lost 7lbs. The thing is I have just weighed myself again and it seems to have gone up. I feel a bit disheartened because I have heard of 17lb weight losses in week 1 and I was hoping for similar results. I currently weigh 12 and a half stone so perhaps it is because I don't weigh a bit more?
Also I have been trying to drink lots of water but I have never been a massive water drinker and I am barely managing a litre could this have something to do with the speed of the weight loss? Does anyone have any tips that could help to encourage me to drink more water? I know that there are fruit flavours by my CDC mentioned that this could take me out of ketosis? The only other thing I can think is that I have used lo-salt on my soup yesterday and today for flavour and also quite a lot of pepper because it tastes so bland to me.
Any advice would be great, am feeling a bit low because I have worked hard and stuck to the diet despite the fact I could kill for a pizza right now!
