Has anyone tried these?Do you know the syn value as I can't find it?Are they better syn value than real butter?I really dislike the low fat spreads so I'm hoping these are a good alternative to butter.

Half a syn per sachet. It depends what you want to use them for. They won't spread because it comes in powder form, but they are good for mash, stirring into pasta or onto a baked potato.

Ooh I'm not sure that would work. Never tried it, in fact never even thought of it but no harm in trying I suppose.

I use them just for sprinkling and mashing into my Jacket potatoe - not as nice as lovely fresh best butter, but they manage.

I don't think you could make them into a spread though - but Flora Extra Lite spread is only ½ a syn a level teaspoon....

I bought these from Lakeland and wasn't that impressed with their taste other than on jacket potatoes. Flora extra light is better. I also read somewhere you can mix the powder with a drop of hot water to make runny type butter!
