Week 3 - New Girl Saying Hi Everyone

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum so I thought I would say hi and reflect on my journey so far.

Week 1 - Did not experience any headaches or weakness which is a bonus. Found it weird that the feelings of hunger pass so quickly in the early days of the plan.

Week 2 - Feeling great. Seeing results in my face, shoulders and upper arms. Finding weekends the hardest as I miss social eating and the odd glass of wine. Took my son to McDonalds, the chips looked so tempting but made do with a black tea. Cannot believe I have stuck to the plan and not cheeted once.

I have my doubts at times that I will not make it to my goal of six weeks in total, as I miss food and wine so much.

I plan to re-feed for a week and then start on slimming world. Is a week refeeding realistic ?

I know six weeks to some may not seem long to some who have a longer journey to their target and I salute you all :). I have read some of the posts and I am encouraged by how strong and supportive everyone seems to be.

Well done on your three weeks and your losses so far I would say take it week by week see what your overall loss comes too and see if your then happy with your weight??? As long as you refeed poperly a week should be fine although many do two weeks refeed?? Good luck with your weight loss journey that's what it is no matter how long or short it is:) oh and welcome to this fab forum

I think a week is the recommended refeed, so, I can't see that would be an issue!

Thanks Ladies for your encouragement. Loving the forum it really helps having somewhere to talk and have access to other peoples journeys which are inspirational. Many people judge TFR not fully understanding how it works and its benefits.
