feeling so tired and so lethargic

hi all, its my day 6, and i have been feeling so tired and lethatgic, very weepy and very emotional.
i have had plenty of water around 4L, 2 black coffees with seetners and my shakes.
i have along shift at work tomorrow, a 13.5hrs shift and if i still feel like this, i dont know how i'll manage to work!!
anybody got any suggestion how to improve the way am feeling and hopefully it'll pass very soon.
am determined to continue with this diet untill i reach my goal, but i also hope that i dont feel like this nealy every day.

Hi there, just popped in and read your post...tomorrow could be a whole new kettle of fish...you may just wake up with that full of energy feeling that most people get towards the end of their first week on LT. Get yourself off to bed, tomorrow is a whole new day, goodluck x
 
The first week is so much difficult to get through than the rest. It will pass. Keep focused and don't let any gremlin tell you that you can't reach your goal. Because you CAN and you WILL.

I really didnt think I could get past day one let alone week one and as soon as I had my first weigh in I was spurred on to the next week. There will always be good days and bad days but that is what happens anyway and being on a diet won't ever change that. What can change is how you approach to handle the bad days and good days.

In the past I would celebrate and commiserate with food. Now I have realised that so much of my life revolved around food without me really noticing.

Keep coming on here and rant as much as you like, take a look at the motivational slideshow and see lots of people with their before and after pictures.

Week one is hard but I can honestly say I don't seem to get that full of energy feeling and im on week seven now!! Some days are better than others and I don't feel any more tired than I normally would but not bouncing around full of beans:)
 
I am sure the next time you post you will have had your first weigh in and the results on the scales will be a visual reminder of why you are doing this. I have noticed many people set themselves mini goals to get themselves to target. It may also help to give yourself a little treat like a facial, nails or massage.

The first week is tough! I was feeling like this all of last week & thinking, "how did I do this for so long when I felt like this?" Then I remembered that I didn't feel like that for the duration of the diet! So, don't worry, it'll get better! Just keep why you want to lose the weight in mind to get through these tough moments!
