yes and yes lol i love my ice cream maker the kids love it to :)

I have had a couple of ice cream makers now. They save all the hassle of having to break ice crystals. There are two types - the cheapest ones have an insulated bowl that you have to chill in the freezer - fine, if you have the space in your freezer. The other is much more expensive (a coupe of hundred £) and has an inbuilt chiller unit, so you just switch it on and put in your ingredients and it beats the mixture and freezes it at the same time. I'd say try a cheap one and if you like it (and can afford it) upgrade to the second type. I got lucky - a friend gave me hers and I love it!

no idea on ice cream but i make kfc chicken with a hand blender. u need to put it in a big bowl cause it goes everywhere i don't toast my bread

I just toast the bread for the KFC and crushed it with a rolling poin in a freezer bag - simples!

I also just bought a cheap (£23 from Amazon) ice cream maker and it really is simple just pour in the Muller lights or other yogurts and press the button...........ice cream in half an hour - much better than keeping taking it in and out of the freezer to stir.

If you can afford to spend more I would if I were you - this one is ok just for me but the model isn't great Kenwood IM200 - quite small and it's hard to clean as the lid doesn't separate from the electric paddle part very easily
