Is it up to me?

Is it up to me if I wanted to change my weight plan. Can't really afford to pay more than £35. The deciding factor for me to do CD was the price (3pks daily). When I first called my cdc, I asked her if there's a form for me to take to the docter to sign. She asked me whats my bmi and at the time I told her 34. She said I wouldnt because its under 40.

So at my first meeting she put me on SS+ (4pks and slim milk) which came up to about £47. Because she said my bmi was lower than 40, I thought it was ok to do just (SS)3pks daily. I had no problem with informing my gp that I'm on CD.

So the my questions are

1. Can I change my plan if I wanted to?

2. Do I need to get my gp to sign a form so I can do SS?

Thanx in avdance for your help.

yes its up to you which plan you do, its your diet after all, i cant see the reason why CDC would just put you straight on to ss+ with the milk option as ss and ss+ are the same where doc forms are concerned i think anyway.
if you want to do just ss i would just do it or if its a matter of cost tell her you cant afford that much and would rather ss or ss+ (3 packs and food option).

every time i have changed plans i have told my CDC what I'M doing not the other way round all ive done is ask her advice and shes been fine with everything ive decided. im almost at goal now (need to go change my ticker) and have been doing the 1000 plan for almost 2 weeks so on monday im moving up to 1200, told CDC this morning and shes cool with it :)

Just out of interest how tall are you? It might be that your CDC has put you on SS+ because you're 5' 8" or taller. Cambridge recommends 4 packs a day for women 5' 8" or taller and men. As for why she's put you on the additional milk I'm not sure, but it is your choice which plan you do.

If your consultant considers that it's safe for you to do SS+, then there should be no reason why you can't SS (with 3 packs since you are under 5'8")

Having said that, your consultant does need to know what you are doing as with SS, she has to notify your doctor. The doctor doesn't have to sign anything, just has to be told that this is what you've chosen to do.

It shouldn't be a problem. Have a little chat with her to find out why she feels SS+ is best for you or if SS would be better
