Tesco's - Bl**dy Hell

Ok so I know this probably my fault for not checking BUT...the Activia 8 packs are buy one ge one free at Tesco's, in my Tesco's they are all displayed at the end of the aisle, last week I bought two packs & have been happily munching away at them (I normally have about 4 yoghurts a day), anyway, just gone back to get some more only to discover Tesco's have actually mixed the display up and the one's I have had last week are not the fat free one's, they are 3 syns per pot!!!!! I know it is my own fault but I am well hacked off, I saw the fat free one's so just picked two packs up, why can't they separate them properly on the shelves???

grrr how irritating!

I have done something very similar in the past. Best thing you can say is that at least it won't happen again - you will check closer next time. So easily done. xxx

I've been caught out like this before so I always double check. It's most annoying!
I wish they did a prune FF one though, I love the prune but not spending 3 syns on it.....
Bah, yoghurt annoyance!

no wonder I put 1.5 pounds on last week, 12 syns a day PLUS another 5 - 8 a day, minimum 20 syns a day....then we were out Saturday and the meal cooked was not a SW friendly one, glad I am at target as I am skipping WI tonight, bad week then weekend all round, I shall start afresh today, just given all my non-fat-free yoghurts to the receptionist..

This has just made me check mine as well and guess what mine arent the Fat Free ones either gggggrrrrr! One pack is and the other isnt how annoying is that :( now i have 8 yoghurts that i dont want to use syns on, mmm pay have to palm them off onto someone who isnt doing SW.
Thanks for the heads up though ;)

Frustrating eh? The shops should make it more noticable about which are which! I have another 8 at home which I will now have to give away so my 'bargain' yoghurts have ended up costing me money....

Oh no! I love muller lights and was wondering if there are any simlar but cheaper??

my mum made the same mistake! infact so did my hubby! grrrrr!! oh and i used to think the cherry and choc mullers were syn free too!

Done the same thing here in France - why does the packaging have to be identical apart from the teeny weeny 0% ? Mind you, I loved the vanilla one and thoguht it was worth the 3 syns as a 1 off treat :D

OH FECK!
Just read ^^^ the above about the vanilla one, which is making me go check mine....

...phew! Mine ARE all FF - THIS week! Goodness only knows if I've made the same boob in past weeks though! lol

Thanks for the heads up x

Jess, the fat free Activia are syn free and you can check out the thread on syn-free yoghurts in the syn values sub-forum for other. If you like your mullerlights then head down to Asda where you can pick up 2x6-packs for £2!

Made this boob a few weeks ago! Gave them all to oh to eat! So now when i go to tesco i check, check and check!!!

Anyone know when the 8 pack bogof finishes? Such good value for them and they are much creamier than mullers! Also have not noticed many good deals on mullers recently!

Ooh, are they? Must tell hubby. He got 2 x 6 muller rice at the weekend for £2.00, but I don't think he saw Mullerlights.

Thanks hun will stick with the activia's for now then! Asda is about 20 mins drive for me so not worth the petrol! Especially the price it will be at the weekend!!!!!!

I was annoyed at Tesco today though (a fairly common feeling when I go there if I am honest ), about to pick up 2x8FF activa to notice that they all had a use by of 18th and 19th march  honestly! 16 yogurts in 2 days - that's beyond my ability, even with the help of my family!!

I didn't buy any in the end. Instead, I shall walk to my local co-op (much nicer shop anyway) where they are selling the 8 packs at £1.40, and therefore no obligation to buy 16 at once :)

oh good work we have a co-op at the end of the road so will check if they have them there!
