heb value

soccermom

I AM A WEMITT x
Am i right in thinking that a Heb is equivalent to 6 syns? I have seen it on here somewhere, but my search is not providing me with the answer I am looking for.

Can anyone tell me

Thanks :D

You can use 6 syns as a guideline though.

227gms of potato is certainly not 6 syns. I really don't understand all this.Yesterday i syned my porridge and had potato as my HEB as i didnt have enough syns for the potato ,if that makes sense it does not to me LOL

227g of potato is 6 Syns.

57g of potato (raw weight), flesh and skin is 1.5 Syns.

So 227g potato (raw weight), flesh and skin = 6 Syns.

I think you may have been looking at the Syn value for cooked weight. :)

A HEb isn't a HEb based on how many syns it has it in, it is based on the fibre/protein/etc content. The syn value is only relevant if you are synning it, not using as a HEb.

You cannot just have something that is worth 6 syns and call it a HEb. HEb must be from the updated list that you can find on the SW website.

Sorry if what I have said is obvious but didn't want anyone to get the wrong end of the stick :)

Thanks everyone for your replies, was trying to see if I had an extra heb for 3 pagen krisprolls it would be the same as 6 syns, I couldnt put my hands on my books so was a bit lost and confused. :D

Was just playing around with my plan for the day.

thanks again
