Green Day pasta sauce help needed!

can anyone help me make a pasta sauce that isn't too sharp or bitter? I usually use onion, mushroom, mixed herbs and passata, but its really too tangy for me. any suggestions?
 
ooo i make a lovely sauce that i mix with pasta and then cook in the oven as a pasta bake

You need :
about 2/3rd's bottle of pasatta
2 cloves garlic
1 red chilli
2 small onions
3 tablespoons of chopped basil
2 teaspoons of sweetner
1 tablespoon of oregano

Chop your onions, crush garlic, deseed chilli and chop very finely
Fry the whole lot in frylight for 3/4 mins
Stir in pasata and bring to the boil
Reduce to simmer - add basil, sweetener, oregano, salt and pepper and leave to simmer while cooking pasta

Cook your pasta so its a little uncooked, drain and stir it in with 2 tablespoons of zero fat fromage frais. Mix in the pasta sauce and then put the whole lot in dish and cover with cheese - i use 84 g as mine and oh allowance and then cook in oven at 180 for 20 mins - yum!

Quite plain and simple ingredients but i find it very tasty :)
 
i do some onions in fry light add a red pepper, mushrooms, courgette then a tin of chopped tomatoes and simmer and its yummy
 
fry onions, garlic in fry lite
add dried chilli flakes
tins of toms or passata
dried oregano 1 tsp sweetener
1 tbsp of mascarpone cheese makes it creamy
