My Slimming World Diary *Fingers crossed*

I've been doing Slim Fast on and off for over 2 years, I managed to lose 44lb the first time around then I got pregnant and put on 42lb. Since my baby was born I've managed to lose 30lb and I'm happy with that but I'd like my girls to see me eating healthy balanced meals instead of drinking milkshakes. I was considering Weight Watchers but after a friend gave it a bad review and recommended Slimming World I decided to check it out. I found the 7 day meal plan for Extra Easy on their website and decided I would give it a shot, which is where my Slimming World journey is going to begin :)

I spent all morning writing out what ingredients I need to follow the 7 day menu and was shocked at how long it was! I don't think I've ever had such a long shopping list in my life. After that I toddled off to Asda and after a lot of circling the fruit and veg isles looking for stuff I never use I got to the checkout and handed over £90  ok, so £6 of that was spent on the Slimming World magazine and a special breast cancer bag for life and a lot of it was things a friend of mine would call "pantry food" for example things you wouldn't need to buy every week like mustard powder and all spice (or old spice as my OH keeps calling it trying to be funny >.<) so I think I'm ready for week 1.

... and I rejoined last Wednesday. I know what you mean about the initial shopping spree !! Good luck with it :)
