Gonna take a break from TFR

Maintaing LT loss on GL
Hi All, well decision is made to take a break from TFR. My reasons are:
1. I am on this for six months now.
2. Have lost over six stone and think I should try a more conventional approach for a while.
3. Have a few outings in the coming weeks that all involve sit down meals.
4. OH thinks he lives alone as I never seem to eat with him at all!!!
5. Really feel ready to try a different approach for a change.
I have done a lot of reading on a GL approach to eating and I intend to do this for a while.
If I am not making inroads or at least maintaining, well then, I may give LT another few weeks.
I have been refeeding this past week and hopefully am down another 2lbs(tho weighin is tomorrow)
This forum is a fab resource and without it, I do not think I could keep going.

Well done on your amazing loss so far!!
Just try follow maintainance for a while- biggest mistake i made was not following it for more than a week!

Daisy, thanks for that tip. Yep, I intend to stay on two shakes and a meal for another week or two. I want to ease myself back into an eating regime but will be limiting portion sizes and also potato, bread and rice and will substitute these with beans and pulses and rye.

Molly, I did Lipotrim a few years back - lost 2 1/2 stone in 5 weeks, but then I had a week which included a communion party, a concert, 3 birthdays (including my own) and another night out. It was painful, and I held off until the last birthday where I got pished, and bang - I didn't get back on it, and if I had been refeeding and knew what I was doing - I may have stayed on track.

All i'm saying is don't put yourself under stress, or you'll collapse and binge. Do what you gotta do to get through the next few weeks (enjoy yourself), and then take it from there.

You are sooo right, that's why I want to take a break. I reckon if I refeed properly then I won't do too much damage. In any event, I have been at this for six months now so think it is time to ring the changes.
