Laugh in the face of food
Hiya, I don't know if anyone else has done this but it's helped me loads.

If I get to a point where I desperately want something to eat, I write it down in the back of my works diary, and make a mental note to have it when I finish the diet. I did it the first time round and never actually had much off the list because the craving had passed.

I find that writing it down and promising myself that I can have it after I reach target, takes the desperation out of it. The craving passes and I haven't eaten. For me it's a great way of keeping 100%.

So this time round my list so far is quite long:

Cumberland sausage and mash
Cheese on toast
Jacket potato with tuna mayo
Butternut squash soup
Cathedral City cheese
Scotch eggs
Cup cakes (chocolate)
Sausage and egg sandwiches
Quiche
Scrambled eggs
Cadbury's Creme Egg
Maltesers Bunny
Chinese noodles
Corned beef pasty

The most surprising thing to me is that it's mostly savoury things I crave, I have a sweet tooth, but I would leave any of it for a savoury treat. Very enlightening.

wow what a fab idea I do keep a recipe folder on my computer for lovely low fat food I see on t.v. cooking programmes in the hope of cooking great food when I am maintaining
