Alternative to malt loaf....

does anyone have a recipe for a tea bread that doesnt contain dried fruit, i love the look of malt loaf but i hatttte dried fruit and i feel left out at around 3 o'clock when people in my house tuck into "afternoon tea" ...

Im with you on that one & toasted it smells fab but I hate raisins!!!!

Am if im thinking what it is...im not too sure though but we have lik bready/cake/loafy type thing called Veda bread?..its savoury though..but i guess you could sweeten it up if you like.

However..friends in uni in england are always gutted as you cant get it over there.

Im going to do a bit of research and see if you can get it online maybe..
