OOhhhhh hello to my new diary. I'm starting a new WW diary as I kept one while I was on CD and found it really helped me stay focused and on track.

Two years ago was when i last did WW. Until then WW was just a way of life for me as my Mum followed the plan while I grew up. It all got a bit stale with me and I was tired of yoyo dieting. I then read a Jason Vale book on eating healthy and it got me out of dieting and let me maintain my weight. So I had a year out of dieting before starting CD. I lost 2 stone in the first 2 months and then kept on the plan for a further 8 months with the next half stone going on and off. Completly my fault as I was faffing about with it.

Last Tuesday night after a lot of thought and a chat with my CD lady and my fiance I decided to start WW the following day. I am SO glad I made this choice. I feel free being able to eat and point again.:character00148: I also have energy to exercise again and plan on not using my exercise as bonus points to eat more.

It's been fun reading up on WW again, buying the magazine and doing a proper shop. I've missed cooking and eating normally with lots of choice. My other half eats a healthy diet and we can start cooking and eating together again now.

It's important for me to remember down the line how happy I am to have food back in my life. I know a time may come when I take it all for granted again and end up going off track. This is why i need this diary to help motivate myself even if some days all I need is to log my food diary.

The main reason to get rid of this last stone is so i feel fantastic at my wedding dress fitting on 23rd April. Apart from this to focus on I love fashion and can't wait to go on a massive shopping spree when I reach goal before my wedding in Mexico on 20th May. :love047: I would love to have a new wardrobe for the week in Mexico and our honeymoon in New York. So I have lots of reasons to shed this weight and get to goal. I also have 6 weddings coming up between April and November! My main motivation while I was on CD was being chief bridesmaid for my sister in November and that goal kept me focused and kept the weight off.

I can't wait to get to my goal weight and as long as the scales move in the right direction I will be a happy bunny. So far so good this week. I will add my losses on Wednesdays.

*This diary is for me to log my daily food and exercise when I need to.
* To tell myself off if i slip up
* To keep me focused on what I really want
* To stop me boring my family and friends with diet talk
* To get me to my goal. It will be the first time I ever get to my goal weight.
* To keep track of my weekly losses.
* Probably a whole load of other reasons too :)

I really enjoyed the fresh pasta, smoked salmon and philadelphia light with black pepper yesterday. So quick and easy...felt like a real treat actually.

Foodie log so far-

Breakfast - rice krispies, skim milk, water - 2pts
Lunch - 2 ww toast, smoked salmon- tiny bit, philadelphia light, pepper, mug of tea - 3 pts
Exercise - 30 mins on gravity strider
Dinner - ww chicken pie and salad with light dressing - 6.5pts
Treat - hot choc options- 0.5pts[/FONT
....... Zero point veg home made soup
Water - 2 lites

12pts by dinner. I'm on 17pts but thanks to over eating on ww icecream cones yesterday I'll have to save points all week. I'll have 1-2pts to play with later. x

Thanks Shanny hun. I feel like such a stranger here so it's SO lovely to hear from you. Everyone seems really lovely here in the WW section tho :) CD was a lifeline for me and I knew everyone over there. But I am keeping this diary for myself.

How are you getting on? It was fab seeing your pics a few weeks ago. Are we really the only Shrinklies left on Mini's? It's weird. Wonder what they are all doing now? I don't hear from Fattyfattybumtum these days. xxx
 
Flip just realised I've posted on the food diary section so I have asked for my thread to be moved to the weight loss diary section instead. I'll get there eventually. Right off to get the housework done :) x

Ahh thank you very much but thinking back hun you are the person i need to thank as i would'nt be the person i am today.!
Im so much healthy happier loving my body, clothes sizes. As you know i got to my goal weight at 10.10 last year because of you and CD. Im fighting to loose more now im 10.4 now got the last 4 lbs to go now. It's slow at the moment but not stressing myself or worrying as i will get there in the next 3 weeks or so. I love the CD board meet so many inspiring people over the last few months. Everyone has there own highs and lows with diets but CD has made me so much happier, and being in the group of shrinkies is where it all started for me.:D

I was out with the girls last nite and danced the night away and loved the way i looked did run into the toilets to double check my figure lol.
And yes i was a lovely slim shanny curvy bum thou lol.
I still do have CD for brekkie and snacks thou. Yes wonder how everyone is doing Thelma etc.
Sunshine you will be a beautiful bride and will crack your weight loss on WW in know time.

We really did have a special support group. Youve done really well and it's fab to see that you're enjoying your new body so much. I can't wait till I'm there with you. My little clothes are just too tight so I stuggle with what to wear right now. I threw my bigger clothes out and I don't want to buy more so making do at the moment. I'm more relaxed now about taking my time getting to goal but so looking forward to that day when it arrives. I'll be screaming it from the roof tops lol xxx
 
Gosh I just looked at the ww chicken and mushroom pie. It's tiny ! And 6pts. Not sure I'll have that tonight. Hum...... I'll have a rethink. Seems like a heck of a lot of points. I could have a breaded hadock for 3.5pts with a jaket potato 3pts for that or cook fresh. Choices choices. So nice to have choices. Talk about a lazy day. Needed this x

Hello, I joined on here yesterday, it is so good to see i am not the only one doing this! Am gonna use this forum in the same way as you, tis a good way to track my food and exercise!

Good luck with your weight loss, can imagine a wedding is a massive incentive! I am planning to go on holiday in Aug and wanna be able to wear a bikini with confidence! So fingers crossed!!!

Hiya.

Good luck for this week. Yeah it's def a good way of keeping on track by logging everyday. I'm in a very eaty mood with totm due! Amazing how 17 pts some days seems loads and days like today seems so little! Odd as compared to Cambridge diet it Is loads lol

the wedding should be a good incentive but it's not working so well as 2 months have passed since I bought my dress and um still the same weight. I've yoyo'd through the 2 months.

I know what you mean, feel like i have eaten loads today and i have still got points left to bank!!! Crazy!!

Well hopefully WW will help the weight keep dropping in the run up to the big day then! :cross:

Not a great day I must say. I could eat a house right now. I'm really due on and it always makes me want loads of food. Should be weighing in first thing tomorrow as its a week since I started. I don't feel like I've lost anything. I shall keep going tho and hope for a big loss next week. If ive put on, even tho it's totm, I know I'll feel disheartened.

Don't give up tonite, not with WI in the morning, am sure you'll do fine, we'll shift that half stone before we know it!!! Am with you though, just had dinner and still wanna eat - i just love eating!!! x
 
Hahah. I'm a foodie alright lol. I'm not gonna give in but I'm so bloated. If I feel this bloated in the morning I may put off weighing myself. I need to up my water and boost my exercise really.

Oh dear :( I thought even tho I'm so bloated and feel heavy that I should weigh myself so I know where I am. I'm 2lbs up at 138lbs. Exactly what's happened weight wise the last two months on cd I've gone up and down all week from 134.5-138lbs. ??? I just feel sad. Less than 7 weeks till my dress fitting and yet another week has passed by. I've been putting off going to see the doctor but I think I'll have to go. This can't be right. You go on a diet to lose weight not yoyo for no reason up and down. I knew weighing and seeing a rise in the scales would upset me. I know i'm due on a d retaining water but there has to be more to it. I was stressed and upset this last week but what the heck is going on.
