Great advice Minerva, thank you. I realised that the losing bit is very much the easy part, having dropped weight on a diet before and then got that, "hey, I'm invincible, I can do what I like now - look at me, I'm thin" kind of attitude, only to be shaken to the core - when before long, I have regained all my loss.
Ain't doin that again!
This time I am really embracing the counselling aspect and while I am off food and on the packs, it is giving me the time to think vey hard about what I want at the end of it all!
I intend to follow Paul McKenna's 'rules' once I am eating real food again - slowing right down and enjoying what I eat and stopping once I am sated. It's not going to be easy to begin with I know, but I am now past 50 and life is too damn short to be messing with being overweight and then having to diet over and over!
You are a real inspiration. Thank you for joining the thread! x
