Joining Fees??

I'm hoping to join Slimming World tomorrow and was wondering howe much it costs to join? All I can find on the website is that membership is free when you but a 12 week countdown course, which I don't want to do right away in case Slimming World isn't right for me- I made that mistake when faffing about on Weight Watchers!

Membership is £10 (currently half price at £5).
Weekly charge is £4.95.
12 week countdown is £49.50.

I paid 9.95 my first night which was joining fee and first week WI
