Hi Elly,
I can't see anything wrong with the food you're eating, except that maybe you're not having enough. This is all I could think of:
- Are you weighing/measuring your cereal? I was shocked at just how many calories there are in some cereals and how small a portion is supposed to be
- Do you ever bulk out your evening meal with extra veggies/salad? I do this a lot and it helps me to fill up and get my 5 a day (can also help with constipation etc)
- Looks like you're drinking plenty of water, so no problems there
- what about soups / wraps / pitta breads at lunch for a bit of variety? You can get some very low calorie ones if you look around, and pile them with salad and ham/chicken.
- Do you like stir frys? Blue Dragon do a good range of sachet sauces that are low in calories, and you can have them with veggies/chicken and noodles.
- Have you tried any low fat home made currys/chillis and that kind of thing? There are a few recipies on this forum that you could try out.

I think any of these things will probably increase your calorie intake slightly, but in your case, you might need to eat slightly more, or to have more variety to get things moving a bit.
I know how disheartening it can be, but it may just be your body adjusting to these tablets. In which case, it's just gonna take time. All you can do in the meantime is to give your body everything in needs in terms of nutrition and water, and just wait for the results!

Have you tried myfitnesspal.com? they have a good calculator to work out how many calories you should be having each day. You can also complete a food diary on there that works out all your daily nutrition intake.

Good luck - I really hope it works out for you x

Just realised that you've not long since finished LighterLife. It may well just be that your body is still getting used to food again and is clinging onto every calorie for dear life!
Constipation can also affect your weight loss, and I know how horrible it is to feel so sluggish and bloated. Maybe try a supplement to get things moving again, and then keep up your water intake. You should feel much better when things settle down, and your weight loss should pick up again when your body doesn't think there's a drought on anymore :)

thanks for your prompt reply Alex ive tried low fat home made currys, wraps, bulking chicken with lots of veg on plate never ever had an "accident" at loo which indicates Im doing everything right but just cant seem to budge think ILL give it a couple of days then maybe resort back to lighter life !!!!!

i wrote a long post yesterday on this and its not shown up... bummer....

i mentioned stirfrys as alex has...
firbre... you need to make sure you are getting enough...
lentils, dried fruits like prunes (wiz them up with some other dried fruits and mix them in with some low fat natural youghurt and its nice.)
all bran is also good to have once a week maybe... to make sure your going enough...

it might be a case that you are just still adjusting to food again..... so i would not worry about it too much!!

hi there thanks for the advice got on the scales today and a 1lb down since 2 wks wow!!! the only worry is ive got an appt with nurse 2 wks today and if I dont lose anything she will probably not give me repeat I honestly dont think im eating enough ive had a look at peoples diaries I dont eat half that also i keep low on carbs maybe have cereal in morning but thats about it unless I have an odd baked potato for tea Ill stick with it maybe for a few days and see if other weight loss thanks

have now realised that there is two of these.....

Good on you about the loss...

if you go in to the nurse and explain what has been happening over the last month (or how ever long its been) im sure that they will understand, if you state you would like to give it longer to see if your eating habbits improve and you start losing.... at least then they will know you are tryin!

Does your nurse know that you have just recently finsished lighter life? Does she understand what that entails? If she does then she should totally understand that your body is going through a period of re adjustment. If she doesn't understand, thern explain it to her. Maybe print off some stuff from here, showing that we're helping you and that we do understand. I really hope she understands and that you get on ok.
xx

I don't think you should worry , your nurse must understand what's goin on with you changing from LL to normal food.

so everyone thinks I should just stick it out then well I will give it another week see what happens I know I am eating the right portions right food etc Ive had no mistakes I drink few vodka and diet coke may be once a week if that walk to work each day going to invest in a wii fit this weekend and step up on the exercise I am going to have to have faith in this blue pill

yes the nurse knows she was not happy I had been on it she said it was not a life changing diet and when you started to eat the weight would go back on again so if I just lose the 2lb I will remind her what she said Im going to give it another week I am desperate to get this weight off funny enough I know Im losing inches but unfortunately did not measure myself when starting the diet
