Is anyone else a bottomless pit the week before * week?

Oh my word, I want to eat, eat, eat!!! I have now found a pattern in this week for me and the past few months when I have felt the same in that it is the week before * week. Arghhh!!!

So far today I have eaten:

2 pieces wholemeal toast with Laughing Cow light & Vegemite

Pasta in tomato sauce with veggies and 2 Babybel melted over, 2 satsumas, a bag of sugarsnap peas and an Alpen Light bar.

I am not thirsty as I am on my way through my usual 2l bottle of water but I just can't shake this hunger! I am also so bloated I am not expecting a loss this week even though I have been quite good.

Please tell me I am not alone!!

Nope you are certainly not alone, i crave sweet stuff and lots of it, so make loads of rice pudding, nothing you can do about it tho just have to learn to choose the 'right' stuff to stuff on!! :(

I often get a huge appetite too around totm too. You have made sensible, healthy choices for meals/snacks which is great - you may not see a loss this week, but I find the following week I have a big loss which makes up for the previous STS/gain.

Definitely not on your own!!!
Try to avoid anything salty/added salt as this doesn't help the bloating.
As Sarahm85 says, go for healthy snacks - I like pineapple chunks.

You're defintely not alone ! I'm at that point too and I've just polished off a huge stir fry, cous cous, youghurts, bran/orange muffins (from the mag) and finally feeling full :) The joys of being a woman

Definately not alone ... I also notice the week coming up to * week is the worst for me hunger wise!

the day before and the first day on oh my word I eat like a bloody horse but learning to just stock up on free food and DEFINATELY do green day lol

Hi,

Well after my "binge" today (mostly on good food) I am preparing for tomorrow's onslaught!! I have a pan of savoury rice with added chilli flakes in simmering away on the stove and am going to boil a couple of eggs for me to take into work too.

I have just done something I have never done before and had a sneaky peek on the scales and have found I have put 5lb on since last WI (I haven't long had my tea though) but I'm not expecting a loss this week

I am the same :17729::eatdrink023::party0051::character00254:, completely trashed today :( but tomorrow is a new day and a fresh start.

Wish I knew a way to stop the chocolate/sugar craving.
