I thought I'd best introduce myself to you all as I'm new to the forum, My day one was 2nd febuary and I've just started week four, I know I can lose weight (I did it last year on yucky lipotrim) but I didn't work out how to re wire my head. I'm finding the group meetings brilliant, which I didn't expect to do. I have eaten on three different occasions, and I am getting much much better at working out when my danger times are.

I had a hard time last night at meeting with someone "food porning" talking about having x on y with lashings of z and it was all a bit too much and I had to ask the leader to enforce the "no food talk" rule, which partly I feel bad about but also I know that that rule really really works for me.

I'm 40 at the end of the year, have a partner and no children, but three cats, hi to you all..... :D :p

Start weight was 20stone 3.
wk 1 - 12lbs
wk 2 - 5lbs (17lbs)
wk 3 - 3lbs (20lbs)

Hi and Welcome Caketiger!

I wouldn't feel bad about asking the LLC to enforce the no food talk rule - it's a rule for a very good reason in the early weeks!

Congrats on your weightloss so far, and I am sure by the time you reach the big 4 0 you'll be at your target - as long as you stop the cheating NOW!!! :nono: ;)

Hiya

Well done so far - you've had some superb losses! I'm just finishing week 4.

I think as time goes on, with the help of the counselling, it does get easier to get your head round it all.

I too started the diet because of a milestone birthday. I was 30 last year and told myself I did not want to spend my 30's overweight like I did my 20's.

I also have 3 cats!

Congratulations on doing so well. Keep up the good work!
