Hi all,

I started the diet two weeks ago tomorrow. I lost 6.5 pound in the first week, following the diet to the letter. I was so happy!! :)
Now I have just jumped on my scales - 1 day before weigh-in, and my weight is the same! And I have followed the diet plan just as strictly this week :cry:Now TMI alert...I haven't managed to go the toilet this week - that's just over a week - do you think this could make such a difference. Surely I should have lost something. I am v.over weight needing to lose at least 3 stone to get me into the high end of a healthy BMI.

Anyone know what could be up??
:wave_cry:

well the first rule is never sneaky peak as its never usually right and being constipated could well have something to do with it

well done for your first weigh in result, thats great!
On the other subject, are you eating enough fruit and veg?
Maybe you could post your food diarys here so that someone could have a look at them for you?
Also, remember that all scales are different too!
best of luck
Frankie xx

Totaly agree with Frankie, post your food diary so we can just make sure you are doing it 100%. Also are you drinking enough? You need to drink to flush the food through. Is your bread wholemeal?
If you are eating enough fruit and veg, then you should be getting the fibre. If there is nothing wrong with the food side, then its just a blip hun and when you do "go", everything should right itself. Talk to your consultant if you still haven't been by your next meeting. Sometimes a change in eating habits can upset your system but it will settle down. Don't worry, just stick to the plan. Another thing is don't weigh yourself other than on your class scales, there the ones that count.:D Good luck and hope you have a loss.

I agree about upping the fruit and veg and see if that sorts things out - it is probably just your body adjusting to the new regime. I lost 5 and half pounds the first week but only one and a half the second week. Even though it was a loss I felt really disappointed as I had stuck to the plan - so I know how you are feeling!
