Icecream is one of the things I really miss (as well as chocolate - cant do the moderation thing with chocolate). I do have a solero everynight but fancy something different. So today bought an icecream maker to have a play with. Going to use free yogurts to start with. Any hints , tips and also disasters would be welcome

Gosh I've never made ice cream from scratch, but I couldn't live without my Mini Milk Ice Creams which are only 1.5 syns! Good luck and let us know how you get on with your ice cream maker.

i tried icecream yogurts wasn't to keen and have to do it there and then but didn't play around with flavours i love my mini milks to.
let us know how u get on

Im not to fussed on the mini milk, but I also like mint skinny cow but find them to maurish and end up having 2

Thanks I will. Got the pot in the freezer so will have to wait til I finish work tomorrow before I play
Got the vanilla with chocolate sprinkles muller light to try 1st

There are some lovely free and very low syn ice creams in the SW 100 delicious desserts cook book. None of them use muller lights.
If you can't get the book I'll be happy to post them in the recipe section.
