ok...I am figuring I am on a red day today so

HEA are 350ml skimmed milk and 28g cheddar
HEB are 227g baked potato and 2 slies warbutons healthy inside

Breakfast
Turkey rasher sandwich made with HEB bread and tomato sauce

Lunch
Smoothie made with mullerlight cherry yoghurt, banana, 4 strawberries

Tea
potato from HEB and cheese from HEA plus 4 mini chicken fillets, bit of spread on potato and barbeque sauce.

I have syned the spread with 2 syns (?) and the barbeque saue at 1 syn (?) and I shall be having some rich tea biscuits later at 2 syns each and possible sneak another nuller light in after my run :)

What do you think????

Smoothies have to be synned I'm afraid. Slimming World say that fruit that has been mashed or cooked or pureed has syns. I don't get their idea but it's something to do with sugars in the fruit and that you may be likely to eat more. I know an average banana has 4 syns when in a smoothie and strawberries would not be much but it does take a chunk out of your daily allowance.

Otherwise you are doing good.
Keep up the good work!;)

Thanks for the reply.
BLIMEY.....4 syns for a banana because it has been in a smoothie. Tomorrow I'll just chop the friut and stick the yoghurt on top!!!!!

That's a a good idea. To me it would be more filling as it would be in a bowl but i know it's just a psychological thing. If my plate is full so I will be whatever size it is!:D

Well day 2 and messed up already thanks to a bloomin' cup a soup

HEA are 350ml skimmed milk
HEB are baked beans and 2 slices warbutons healthy inside
Breakfast
2 Turkey rasher, poached egg, baked beans, 1 slice toast

Lunch
cup a soup.....5 SYNS!!!! 1 piece of bread, muller light yoghurt, apple

Tea
3 fish fingers 9syns, mashed potato, no marg, splash of milk from healthy exta. Baked beans.

I still need to syn the beans as I forgot I had had them this morning. So day 2 and a bit of a mess already.

Must try harder!!!!!:break_diet:

Are you doing red again today? If you changed it to extra easy you won't have to syn the baked beans and you've only had 1hea nd b then so it's ok.

Hope I haven't confused you.

Followed the free online menu for today so
Breakfast
bowl of oat so simple milk from your allowance . Topped with Banana.

Lunch
plit a large baked potato filled with 42g reduced-fat cheddar and baked beans over the top. Followed by an apple

Dinner
Spaghetti bolognese:
Top a mound of cooked spaghetti with lashings of rich Quorn bolognese, made by frying an onion in Fry Light, adding Quorn mince, chopped tomatoes, chopped or grated carrot, celery, crushed garlic and dried oregano, seasoning with salt and black pepper and simmering for 10-15 minutes.

This was a bit bland but I ate it all the same.
Now do I still need to syn or are they included in the above?

If this was a green day then only 2heas and 1heb as far as I can see with no syns so you can still have your allowance. It will explain if there are any syns used in their menus, have another look and see if they suggest any syns.

As you've used milk for brekkie and then cheese you'll have to syn one of those. The menu looks more like green to me though as using quorn and you could have any mince on extra easy.

 Bugger!!! I don't eat red meat so chose the vegetarian option for the free trial off the SW website. Not good if they have it wrong is it...:sigh:

I think it's to push the extra easy plan to show that people who don't eat much meat can follow the plan too. You could also try making your bolognese with turkey mince if you fancy but you've got your protein anyway in quorn. It's still 2heas though. Maybe ought to email them to check if it's correct.

hmmm I think I will email them. Not having a good first week am I....lol
Good thought about the turkey mince.Never thought of that.
Thanks for your inpu, it is appreciated

havind had another look it would appear to be a SW error as there is no cheese on the non-vegetarian menu, so messed up not my fault.
Lets see if I can get today right....lol

Hope you've had a good day today. I looked on SW website and they seem to have just copied it over from a green day when you could have 2 heas. It's definately their mistake. Don't worry too much about it, just think of the extra calcium you had.

Had a good day today but I am not logging now until Monday as I have ecided to enrol in a class. I think I will need the meeting as my tooth is just too sweet when you have 3 kids in the house :(

I've got three too and know what you mean. I try and save my syns for a sweet treat in the evening. I was going to say I have it after they've gone to bed but now they are older they go to bed later so I can't wait that long and eat it in front of them. They complain that they don't get anything so I'm trying to be healthier and having fruit and yogurt sometimes.

Sorry for waffling on your diary.
